i love the Scottish. More on that later…

Yesterday i saw Vanity Fair. It was… fitting. Not good. Not bad. Fitting. i am a girl mind you…

i also saw Ryan… after two months. It was… interesting. Oi… i almost kissed him. i wanted to. *Gross, huh?!* It may have been out of habit though. (Please let it have been out of habit!!!) we all know it wasn’t… damn… i don’t want to be in love with him for the rest of my life. It’s one of of the worst things in the world when you love someone who doesn’t love you back. Deeper than unrequited. Maybe it’s cause i believed at one time he loved me back for… being me. Now i just question it…

old subject… Scottish… real men wear kilts, i’ve had this phrase, on a cut of tartan ribbon, safety pined to my backpack for almost a decade. i adore the accent, the history… the faerie myth!!! (The men…!) i used to know this kid named Shaun; i wonder what ever happened to him.

Wow! It’s amazing how i can use that to change the subject to Shaun of the Dead!!! Visiting Sci-fi City, reaching into a bag of small red pins… AIM FOR THE HEAD…Shaun of DEAD and as we were driving home on NPR a whole little editorial devoted to it! Sooooo…. When do can i sneak over to watch? *sigh* who knows? BUT I LOVE ZOMBIES!!!!!!! Well… i love most undead creatures. Vampires and such… what to be for Halloween?????

*sigh*...

…why can’t i sleep? – sleep is so nice…. i miss it…..
i think my brain is making up for the hangovers i never had

So i think everyone knows i’ve never been a music junkie – i never even needed a a fix of the Cure…. (i like the way that sounds *hee hee*) last time i was in Chicago i started jonesn’ for music – my music – something i listen to. ANYTHING. Thank goodness Akiba and Heather listen to same music i do and we didn’t even finish high school together. (It’s things like that that make us connect, and again, and again, and again…)

It’s just 80’s music…

Okay so sometimes there is a couple less synthesizers – but the lyrics are there. The need to support your music from the fans. I’m surrounded by t-shirts – black eyeliner – and boys in nail polish. (and i love boys in nail polish! *especially black*) Thankfully, the mullet isn’t making a comeback – but boys still have this longish disheveled looks that is adds to mystique and fascinating. Even Bowling for Soup can see this 80’s thing going on! Clothes… Robert Smith appearing on misc. albums – COME ON … no one is going to take you seriously in those clothes!!! (‘cept the other muffin that came to see the same band.) Not that i mind the girl next to me with a Molly Ringwald complex, i adore the eighties. This is why i made the connecting, my truth.

i heard a rap song today (this is how tired i really am!) that gave praise to his female. He asked her to forgive him… in ‘rap.’ i was so stunned i listened to the whole song. The only thing I remember about past rap is ‘I like big butts…’

i wish a good teen angst – Hughes – film was in the making. i would anything for such a film… yup, just about ANYTHING… i wouldn’t even mind a revamp, i don’t think i’d call Garden State a revamp… *shrug* not really……………………..to much focus on one character………..(though I'd do anything for a Garden State type film as well... and if Braff boy asked!!!!! ANYTHING!)

i am a love junkie though.... and i need a fix.....

Sleepwalkers, currently five…something or other ($) at Walmart, is maybe one of the hokeyest Steven King movies ever. Let’s face it all Steven King movies are pretty damn hokey. This does not mean I love them any less, it just means DAMN! I’m watching this, I’m lauphing…(I have an inkling that I’m suppose to be scared.) Granted I’m watching in daylight while typing on my computer. So this mother – shoots a little handgun of some kind and I’m suppose to believe an entire ‘cop car’ is going to explode. When I watch movies I suspend my disbelief. I could be watching Godzilla – and I will believe a enormous female creature laid a gazillion eggs in Madison Square Garden – AND of all the people that will rescue us Jean Reno is going to team up with Mathew Broderick to save the world.

Yah… right…

Or that a bunch of kids from Kissimmee, Florida are going to take on killer plastic bags? AND WIN? A Pokemon? A Beanie Baby? And I will believe that these boys plus a handy dandy female lead are suppose to defeat a guy they baked into a cake – that one of them had EATTEN!
(And yet it real life I had to save myself from him *burmp bum ching!*)
OF COURSE I’LL FUCKING BELIEVE IT! That’s why I love movies so much! They are fantastic – I want to believe every single one with all my heart and soul!!! Every movie I’ve ever watched!
…this could be why Labyrinth is my favorite movie…*evil grin*

Exceptions: Dumb and Dumber… I’ll never get that time back… *sigh*… I haven’t even bothered to watch BaseketBall or crap like that. War movies: Believe in war? I’d join the fucking marines. (The sad thing is that the war movies I have seen really aren’t that bad, some I even… liked!) Sports films: unless they about hockey, I pray for hockey players every day…*yum*

Usually anything remotely independent I adore. I have a few favorite directors that I look out for, even if the film is crap I’ll love and nurture it, a few actors, actresses. (Like Angelina Jolie… it’s borderline unhealthy! I’d love to be Lara Craft for Mega-Con next year… I got the boobs. I just need the waistline *which I’m working on!* and a really good bra…) Fuck! I just realized I need the hair… okay so I’ll do Fifth Element – Watch out Milla Jovovich! God I love her hair in that movie!!! I think my hair should be that long by then.

Hey – after being a shut in for over a year – and sick most of your life, you’d go a little crazy too!

I just love movies.
